Raffles Community Church
Raffles Community Church was church plant that started at the request of the local community following the development of a Compassionate Ministry Project, called the Living Well Trust, which was developed in 1998 in the Raffles Estate, Carlisle. Initially services began within the Family Centre property of the Living Well Trust in 2001 and in 2004 moved to its own property, opposite the Family Centre, where it continues to function to this day. The Church is an important ministry and remains an integral branch of the work of the Living Well Trust through its role in meeting the spiritual needs of the local community.
Belle Vue Church of the Nazarene
The Belle Vue Church of the Nazarene has operated in the city for over 70 years, some 50 of them in its present location in the west of the City. Over the last three years it has both expanded its witness and services to the community through the development of a ministry team approach and it has also focused on becoming a centre for the community, a location that the community can feel at home in and familiar with. In seeking to meet the felt needs of the community and residents, the church has opened up the potential to meet the spiritual needs and play a relevant role in the community’s development.

Nazarene Theological College
Nazarene Theological College integrates academic excellence and professional ministryskills- training within a context of broadly Wesleyan-Holiness spirituality. The College offers a threefold education: a general higher education in the humanities, the study of the theological disciplines, and vocational courses in the practical aspects of ministry.
Momentum UK Moving Forward in Mission
MOMENTUM partners with Nazarene Theological College (Manchester) to deliver a range of modules in evangelism and church development as part of the curriculum of the BA and MA Degrees validated by Manchester University including Growing Healthy churches, Starting Healthy New Churches, Theories and Strategies of Evangelism and many others to equip Christians for mission in the 21st century.
The Word on Wood
The aim is to hire out scriptural pieces to Churches, Chapels, Schools, Halls etc. Half of the hire charges will go directly to mission projects locally.
YWAM Carlisle
Youth With A Mission in Carlisle is still in a pioneering phase, but moving forward. We are always looking to empower and encourage new people to come and be part of the vision, both locally and internationally.
